When to Call for Inspections
THE WORK YOU ARE DOING MUST BE INSPECTED!
Inspections must be scheduled and completed for the following:

BEFORE footings or slabs are poured (All forms and required systems in place)

BEFORE backfilling the foundations (Insulation in place or its placement indicated)

BEFORE basement floor is poured. Any under floor plumbing must be under test or signed an affidavit at the time of the inspection. (Drain tile and sump pit installed)

BEFORE any insulation, covering or finishing work is done, call for rough building, plumbing (under test or signed affidavit), electric and HVAC inspections.

AFTER insulation and vapor barrier and BEFORE sheet rocking starts.

General Contractor shall call for a Final Inspection.
YOU CANNOT MOVE IN WITHOUT A FINAL INSPECTION!!
NOTE: Inspections are performed Monday through Friday. All inspections, except the Final Inspection, shall be performed within two business days after the inspection is requested and prepared. Final Inspections shall be performed within five business days after the inspection is requested and prepared.
